Will my dog like the taste?

Yes we sure do think so! However, if they don't take to it straight away try these 2 ideas:

Smeer their favourite spread in the grooves: such as dog-safe peanut butter or coconut oil

Break up into bite sizes and feed as a treat

The only treat we now need!!

You would think that if you put a treat on front of a dog's dog they would take it and scoff it down right? Not my pup! She is the fussiest dog I seen and super precious about food. And rightly so, she knows what is good and what is rubbish. If she doesn't like it, she will literally spit it out, turn her head or walk off. Well, she knew right away that Bell and Bone Collagen sticks were good. I gave her one and before I could even ask her if she liked it, it was gone. This goes for both flavours! She doesn't want any other treat now. These are the only treats she want! Girl has good taste!! Bonus for the humans... they actually smell good. They leave their bed or breathe smelling unpleasant. Yay all around!

FAQS

Why should I give my dog collagen sticks?

Bell & Bone Collagen SticksĀ are perfect for all aged and sized dogs and puppies.Ā CollagenĀ makes up 70-90% of a dogā€™s ligaments, tendons, and muscles however as dogs age this will naturally decline and potentially create joint and muscular issues.Ā

Bell & Bone Collagen SticksĀ help maintain greater levels of collagen in your dogā€™s body to promote healthier joints and reduce the risk of joint and osteo disease such asĀ arthritis.Ā

OurĀ collagen chewsĀ for dogs and puppies are perfect to give from 12 weeks old. With benefits for both puppies and adults, we recommend giving these daily for optimal care.

What are the benefits of collagen sticks?

Collagen: Supports joints and connective tissue from damage. Helps break down nutrients to get the best benefit from them and aid digestive health. Promotes healthy skin, coat and nails.

Chicken: A great source of protein providing your growing puppy with lots of energy. With omega-3 fatty acid to promote healthy skin and coat and essential amino acids and glucosamine for healthy bones.

Blueberries: Full of antioxidants, fibre and vitamin C and K to support immunity, digestive health and improved calcium absorption which is great for growing bones.

Do dogs need collagen?

CollagenĀ is a critical protein found within your dogā€™s body. It makes up 70-90% of their tendons, ligaments and muscles but as they age this will decline. Dogs, like humans, needĀ collagen supplementsĀ to help maintain good levels of collagen within their body. Maintaining their collagen levels can help promote healthier joints and avoid osteo disease likeĀ arthritis, maintain more elastic skin, a softer coat, stronger nails and better gut health.Ā

We recommending giving your puppy ourĀ Bell & Bone Collagen SticksĀ from 12 weeks old and maintaining this throughout their adult and senior life.

How much collagen should I give my dog?

Bell & Bone recommendsgiving your dog or puppy 1 collagen dog treat daily to help promote good collagen levels into the senior stages of dogs' lives.
