Frequently Asked Questions

Meat or fish goes in first. Each recipe is 38% chicken, salmon or tuna meal plus 10% beef liver, with pre + postbiotics for a happy gut. No grains, no nasties. Cats are carnivores with strong opinions, so we started with the protein.

We put Snug Healthy Treats in front of 53 cats over 14 days. 89% ate the Chicken with Carrot every day, 87% of owners said their cat enjoyed, really enjoyed or loved them, and 45% rated them much better than their usual treats. More than one owner told us they had to hide the bag.

Go by the feeding guide on the back of the pack:

2kg–5kg: 3–6 treats a day.

5kg–7kg: 6–9 treats a day.

8kg and above: 10 treats a day.

As a rule of paw, treats should be no more than 10% of what your cat eats in a day, and cats are small, so that isn't many. Made for everyday treating, alongside a complete & balanced diet.

From 4 months old, per the pack - younger than the 6 months in the original website brief, so worth confirming with Arianne which age should go live, since the pack is the more authoritative source. Before then, kitten food should be doing all the work.

Yes, all three recipes. Tapioca starch does the binding instead of wheat, corn or rice.

Prebiotics feed the good bacteria in your cat's gut. Postbiotics are what those good bacteria make. Together, they help keep a healthy gut ticking along as part of a normal diet. Ours come from inulin (chicory root) and fermented yeast.

Three: Chicken with Carrot, Salmon with Sardine, and Tuna with Apple. Each comes in a 55g bag.

Yes. Cats can absolutely be trained, whatever they'd have you believe. The treats are bite-sized, so use one as a reward, toss one down the hallway for a mini workout, or scatter a few around the house for a hunt.

Yes. Snug lands at Coles nationally from 1 November 2026. Find us in the pet aisle, or order online right here.
