In 2018, our founder Arianne went looking for a dental stick for her dog, Louie. The packs on the shelf led with wheat, rice, cereal and corn, not meat, and several wore a "vet recommended" badge while they did it. She could not find a single one she would actually give him.

So she made the one she wanted. Real meat first, ingredients that do something, nothing she could not pronounce. She made it for Louie, then for every owner who turns the pack over before they buy.

From the first day, she put her name on the back of every pack and her own mobile number on the website. Pet food recalls had shaken people's trust, and she decided the fix was to be a real person standing behind a real product. That has not changed since.

Some of our best days are not spent at a desk. They are at The Dog Lovers Show, at our Christmas get togethers, and at events with dog and cat owners around the country, where we get to meet the dogs and cats we make this for and the people behind them.

Online, the community is hundreds of thousands strong. They send us photos. They tell us when a fussy dog finally ate something. They know our name, and we know plenty of theirs. More than 9,000 of them have left a review, at an average of 4.88 stars.

We did not set out to build a following. We set out to make a product worth talking about, and the people came with it. That part still surprises us, and we would never give it up.

The problem we are solving is real. Hundreds of millions of dogs and cats around the world, dental disease affecting most of them, and shelves full of products that do not work.
