Why supporting RSPCA Victoria is so important to us

At Bell & Bone we pride ourselves on the role we play in supporting our local community.

We are on a mission to create a community of responsible dog owners, who use expert knowledge and information to learn how we can best treat our animals. RSPCA Victoria provides refuge, care and forever homes where possible to more than 20,000 animals every year.

Their wonderful team of inspectors work to protect animals from cruelty, receiving more than 12,000 complaints every year! Their education team contributes to prevention strategies by influencing over 9,000 young people each year about the value and importance of animals in our lives.

As a not-for-profit organisation, they rely on community support to carry out their work with more than 95% of funding coming from the generous support of the Victorian community.

We donate treats

Bell & Bone donate treats regularly to RSPCA Victoria’s shelter in Burwood East. Since 2019, Bell & Bone representatives make regular trips providing dogs in the shelter with both treats and dental sticks.Our products are used in the shelter for enrichment and training, are given to foster carers when they take home the dogs and in adoptions with take home packs, giving the dogs a familiar taste for when they go to a new home.

We donate funds

As RSPCA Victoria relies heavily on our community for funds, Bell & Bone is committed to assisting with this in any way we can. For each Bell & Bone product sold in Australia, we donate 10c directly to RSPCA Victoria. Not only this, we encourage our online customers at bellandbone.com.au to donate $2 to RSPCA Victoria with their purchase. For every $2 donation, Bell & Bone match this amount to give directly to the shelter.

We sponsor events

Bell & Bone donates treats to fundraising events. We've donated over 1,000 Bell & Bone samples for the Million Paws Walk since 2019 for RSPCA Victoria partners to enjoy. These donations are just the beginning of our support for this cause, and Bell & Bone continues to support RSPCA Victoria.

RSPCA Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that relies heavily on the work, help and support of generous people.

This year, over 20,000 animals will enter their shelters. They’ve been the victims of unimaginable cruelty, neglect and abuse. Your donation will keep them safe and healthy by providing shelter, dedicated medical care and love for as long as it takes to find their forever home.

Foster

The RSPCA Victoria foster program gives animals who are not yet ready for adoption a chance to live and be loved in foster homes. This exciting program helps to reduce the amount of time animals stay in animal care centres and provides RSPCA Victoria with valuable information from foster families to help prepare animals for adoption. Fostering is an incredibly rewarding experience and directly improves the lives of animals.

Volunteer

RSPCA Victoria relies on dedicated and compassionate volunteers to assist with many aspects of their operations - from lending a hand at one of our events to hands-on work caring for animals. Without the support of so many committed volunteers, they simply could not care for the thousands of animals that come into our care each year.
