Bell and Bone

Officially a business support of RSPCA Vic

Bell and Bone couldn’t be prouder to be a Business Supporter of RSPCA Victoria

The reason Bell and Bone exists is for the love, health and happiness of our dogs. It is so important to us that every dog has an opportunity at a happy life, which is the main reason why we create delicious, natural and healthy dog treats. We love how much our customers believe in our mission and give their dogs’ the very best, but unfortunately there are too many dogs who at some stage of their lives don’t have the same privileges – whether it be little access to human care, food or shelter. This is where RSPCA Victoria shines their light. They are Australia’s leading welfare charity, with the vision to end animal cruelty by providing welfare to animals through care and protection, advocacy and education to the community. Being able to support this mission is by far, our proudest moment at Bell and Bone.

Why supporting RSPCA Victoria is so important to us

RSPCA Victoria operates animal care centres across Victoria, providing refuge, care and new homes where possible to more than 20,000 animals every year. They have a wonderful team of inspectors who work to protect animals from cruelty, receiving more than 12,000 complaints every year, prosecuting offenders and rescuing animals from dangerous situations. Their education team contributes to prevention strategies by influencing over 9,000 young people each year about the value and importance of animals in our lives.

As a not-for-profit organisation, they rely on community support to carry out our work with more than 95% of our funding coming from the generous support of the Victorian community.

How Bell and Bone were able to help

In April 2019 Bell and Bone donated 400 bags of Superfood Dog Treats to RSPCA Victoria Burwood site. At this campus, they provide shelter and welfare to many dogs with the aim of finding them a good home to be adopted into. Prior to this, many dogs spend some time with RSPCA learning behavioural skills and becoming ready for a new home. They get taken out for walks and learn tricks, just like our dogs. Treats are used in training and behaviour as well as to provide joy and happiness to these dogs’. We also provided 400 Bell and Bone samples at the Million Paws Walk 2019 for RSPCA Victoria partners to enjoy. These donations are just the beginning of our support for this cause, and Bell and Bone continues to support RSPCA Victoria and looks forward to a long term partnership together.

How can you get involved?

RSPCA Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that relies heavily on the work, help and support of generous people. This year, over 20,000 animals will enter their shelters. They’ve been the victims of unimaginable cruelty, neglect and abuse. Your donation will keep them safe and healthy by providing shelter, dedicated medical care and love for as long as it takes to find their forever home.

Together, we can transform their lives. If you want to donate, please click the link below or head to their website for other fundraising ideas.

RSPCA Victoria rely on dedicated and compassionate volunteers to assist with many aspects of their operations - from lending a hand at one of our events to hands-on work caring for animals. Without the support of so many committed volunteers, they simply could not care for the thousands of animals that come into our care each year.

If you want to become a volunteer, please feel free to contact the RSPCA Victoria volunteer team at:

The RSPCA Victoria foster program gives animals who are not yet ready for adoption a chance to live and be loved in foster homes. This exciting program helps to reduce the amount of time animals stay in animal care centres and provides RSPCA Victoria with valuable information from foster families to help prepare animals for adoption. Fostering is an incredibly rewarding experience and directly improves the lives of animals.
