Puppy Dental Treats

Sad to say my puppy didn’t take to the chew
I gave her half which she rejected and gave her the other half on another day still no interest

Hi Terri, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re really sorry to hear your puppy didn’t take to the Dental Chew. We know how particular pups can be, especially when trying something new.

We’ve reached out to you directly to offer some support and options, but please don’t hesitate to get in touch if there’s anything else we can do.

Warm wishes from all of us at Bell & Bone

Great gift for friends & family with new puppy

Been using B&B with my Goldy since she was a puppy & love to get these samples for any friends with a new puppy. My bestie got the cutest baby dachshund and he's obsessed with the samples I gave her!

This is so lovely to hear, Chrissy! Thank you for sharing the B&B love with your friends and their pups — that means so much to us

Sooooo good (says Winston 🐾)

Winston said these are super yum! I got the sample to try with him since I got him a whole pack of greenies and he didn't like them, but he went crazy for this one. His little puppy teeth are super sharp so will be getting a full pack so he's got something other than mummy's fingers to chew šŸ¶šŸ˜‚

Winston knows a good treat when he tastes one! So glad he’s loving these—a much better option than your fingers! šŸ˜‚ Enjoy and thanks for choosing Bell & Bone :)

Bored dog at home?

ARIANNE’S FEEDING TIPS

If your furry friend is feeling a bit bored at home, why not try a lick mat? Smear a dental stick on it for extra fun and a bit of a dental health boost.

You could also roll some healthy treats and dental sticks into a towel and watch them dig in! These activities are great for mental stimulation—they'll keep your pup busy and tap into their natural sniffing instincts.

Plus, after all that fun, expect a long, peaceful nap. It’s a simple way to keep them happy and healthy!

Some FAQ’s we get asked

How do Bell & Bone's dental sticks work?

Dental sticks for dogsĀ are created so that when the dog chews on them,Ā plaque and tartarĀ should be removed from the teeth. There are two ways that this can occur: either from being hard enough to scrape plaque from the surface of the tooth or by activating the ingredients that are scientifically proven to prevent and reduceĀ plaque and tartar buildup.Ā

When aĀ dental stickĀ is just hard and contains no active ingredients only surface level plaque may be removed. This is definitely not the most effective way of caring for your dog’s oral health.

Most brands ofĀ dental sticksĀ unfortunately do not contain active ingredients which may be the reason for high rates of dental disease in dogs.Ā

Bell & Bone Dental SticksĀ are one of the few Australian brands that containĀ active ingredientsĀ known to prevent and reduce plaque and tartar. Working with industry experts, Bell & Bone has includedĀ Sodium Tripolyphosphate and Zinc SulphateĀ in their range of dental sticks. TheseĀ ingredientsĀ will activate when your dog chews on theirĀ dental stickĀ to provide them with optimal oral care.Ā

Are Bell & Bone Dental Sticks good for dogs?

Bell & Bone Dental SticksĀ are quite different to most other brands in the market. Where they often include grains and fillers, preservatives, unnatural colours and flavours, sugar and salt. Our healthy dog treats are made with natural ingredients. Bell & Bone makes sure they have nothing of the sort included in their formula.Ā

Besides differentiating from other brands by includingĀ active ingredientsĀ known to prevent and reduce plaque and tartar,Ā Bell & Bone Dental SticksĀ are also healthy and good for dogs.

They have a protein first ingredient likeĀ Kangaroo,Ā Salmon,Ā Chicken,Ā DuckĀ andĀ LambĀ and are grain, filler, sugar and nasty free.Ā

Bell & Bone Dental SticksĀ also includeĀ MintĀ and Parsley for fresher breath and a range of superfoods with natural oral health benefits for your dog.Ā Manuka HoneyĀ can help with sore gums,Ā Activated CharcoalĀ is known to help whiten teeth and freshen breath,Ā SeaweedĀ can prevent and reduce plaque naturally and so on.Ā

Bell & Bone Dental SticksĀ are full of natural vitamins and minerals such as protein, magnesium, iron, iodine, and omega-3 fatty acids. Our healthy dog treats come in 3 hypoallergenic flavours for allergies and sensitive tummies – Kangaroo,Ā SalmonĀ andĀ Duck.Ā

We recommend reading theĀ ingredient listĀ before choosing your brand ofĀ dental sticks.Ā

Are dental sticks as good as brushing?

We recommend brushing your dog’s teeth daily as it is still the best thing you can do for yourdog’s dental health. However, we understand that this is a challenge; therefore, dental sticks are a great replacement. They provide similardental health benefits— please note that not all dental sticks do this, but Bell & Bone does due to theactive ingredients.

Are your dog treats all natural?

Yes, these are all naturalĀ dog treats.

Here at Bell & Bone, we offer a huge variety of dog treats superb for gut health. We also offer many varieties ofĀ Dental Treats.

TheseĀ healthy puppy treatsĀ are packed with protein, fibre, and antioxidants that are beneficial for your dog’s gut health. Plus, 10c from each bag sold is donated to RSPCA Victoria.

Furthermore, they contain Coconut Oil, to promote healthier skin and a shiner coat and Green Lipped Mussels that support joint health.

As for our Superfood Dog Treats, they are available in three paw-licking flavours: Coconut & Chia, Carob & Ginger, and Flaxseed & Turmeric.

These Healthy Treats are packed with superfoods and help your best buddy live a longer, happier life. Our Superfood Treats are a salivating solution to keep your super canine content anytime and anywhere!

Being that we are New Zealand-made and Australian-owned, we’d be remiss if we didn’t give back to the place that inspired it all.Ā
